Meet Bill Egan, CPA
Bill Egan is a CPA with over 16 years of experience, including time at several Twin Cities firms, before founding Egan Tax to focus on a niche most accountants avoid: US international and expatriate tax.
Today, most of Egan Tax's clients live outside the United States or hold foreign financial accounts - in Canada, Germany, Denmark, Serbia, the UK, and elsewhere. Bill handles the filings that generalist preparers routinely get wrong: FBAR and Form 8938, PFIC reporting under Form 8621, foreign tax credit optimization, Streamlined Filing for clients who fell behind, and multi-year amendments when a prior preparer missed foreign-source income entirely.
Egan Tax also serves domestic individual and small business clients, applying the same close attention to detail.
Bill holds dual degrees in Accounting and Finance from Augsburg University.
